How does Shaw Open WiFi work?

Shaw Go WiFi provides you with a Shaw Internet experience beyond the home allowing you to get online anytime you are in a Shaw hotspot. Once you register your mobile devices for Shaw Go WiFi, they will automatically connect every time you enter a Shaw Go WiFi hotspot.

How do I get free Shaw open WiFi?

People can gain complimentary Shaw Go WiFi access on their smartphone, laptop, tablet or mobile device by selecting WiFi and then choosing the ShawGo network option. A full list of locations is available at www.shaw.ca/wifi or by downloading the Shaw Go WiFi Finder App.

What is the difference between Shaw open and Shaw passpoint?

Shaw passpoint is the same network as Shaw Open, it’s just not open to everyone. Shaw-Mobile-Hotspot seems to be the hotspot I only get in residential areas. For me it works half of the time. I know it’ll work when it’ll show Wi-Fi calling in the status bar.
