No he is not bullet proof, captain america was actually killed by cross bones at the end of the first civil war in the comics, it was after he had surrendered and been arrested and was walking up the court house steps to face trial, Cross bones was set up with a sniper rifle and killed him on the steps.
As it turns out, being a super soldier – no matter how much energy you have or how good at fighting you are – still doesn’t mean you can avoid bullets or fire, which is why S.H.I.E.L.D. had to design Captain America’s suit with his protection in mind.
Because of the thickness and strength of the Hulk’s skin, it’s nearly impossible for any form of artillery to hurt him. Sure, everyone’s seen bullets bounce off of the Hulk, but when we say he’s bulletproof what we really mean is he’s BULLETPROOF.
