- Using your preferred browser, head to the Apple ID website via https://appleid.apple.com/. On this page, you can manage all your Apple ID information with no exception to your password.
- Log in to your Apple ID account using your email address and password associated with the account if you had not accessed the account in the past 30min.
- Scroll down to locate the “Security” section near the upper part of the screen.
- While still in the security section, locate and click on the “Change Password” option. By doing so, a dropdown menu will appear on the screen.

- Enter the verification code sent to you in the appropriate field and create a new password.

- Click on the Apple on the upper left corner of your Mac’s screen, and a dropdown will pop-up.

- On the home screen of your iPhone, locate and tap on the “Settings” app that resembles gears with a greyed background.
- Tap on your Apple ID on the upper part of the screen next to your profile photo.
- After that, tap on the “Password & Security” option on the upper part of the page.
- Then, tap on the “Change Password” option on the upper side of the page.
- Enter your old password in the field provided and then proceed to the next area to create a new password.
- Enter your anticipated password in the “new” field and then re-enter the password in the “Verify” field to confirm it. The two password entries should match before you can proceed to the next step. Also, it should contain at least one number, lower case letter, and upper case letter. If the two new password entries don’t match, you should repeat this step before proceeding.
- Finally, tap on the “Change” option in the top-right corner of the screen to keep your changes. When prompted to sign out other devices using the same Apple ID, you can choose to sign them out or tap on “Do Not Sign out” to skip. By doing that, you will have your old password replaced with the newly set password.
