Get Your Mahjong Account

Availability

Check the availability of your username once you’ve selected a new one. You can do this by clicking on a grey button next to the text field box. There are two cases. If the username you chose is not available you will see a message saying ‘Username is in use.’ This message will be red in color. If it’s available, there will be a message saying ‘Username is available.’ This will be green in color. Try switching up the spellings if your username is not available. You can also add other characters, switch the capitalization or add more letters to your user name to make it unique.

Confirmation

Reenter your password. Once done, you will see an option at the bottom of the page that says ‘Change Name.’ Scroll down and click on it. Voila! You have changed your username. Take special care of whatever name you’re choosing as you won’t be able to change it again till 30 days. Your previous username will also be available to your for about 37 days. That means, if you want to switch back to your previous username, you can do it within 37 days. After that it will be expired.
