On iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch

  1. On your home screen, press Settings

  1. Scroll down to iCloud

  1. Enter and Sign in with your Apple ID

If you don’t have an existing Apple ID then you can create a new one by pressing the Create New Apple ID in the bottom and follow the below steps:

  • Enter Your Birthday
  • Enter First and Last Names
  • Press Create Free icloud ID
  • Enter Email
  • Enter Password and Confirm Password
  • Enter your Phone Number
  • Then enter Verification Code sent to your phone number
  • Add Security Questions along with Answers
  • Add your Recovery Email
  • Subscribe to Apple email updates by turning the switch on
  • Accept Term and Conditions
  1. After creating your ID, sign in to icloud
  1. Turn On/Off the features by moving the sliders of switches

Important: On IOS versions 10.3 and onwards tap Settings> Your Name> icloud

On IOS systems using version 10.2 or earlier, tap Setting>icloud and follow the rest of the above steps.

On Mac

  1. First Go to Apple Menu

  1. Navigate to App Store

  1. Tap Overview tab and then press System Updates to check if there are any updates available
  1. Go to Apple Menu again and press System Preferences

  1. Hit icloud

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID
  1. Turn on/off the features for icloud storage according to your preferences

On Web Browser (Mac or Windows)

  1. Open your Web Browser

  1. Go to icloud

  1. Sign in with your Apple ID or create a new one (To create a new Apple ID, the steps are the same as in method 1 above)
  1. Check or turn on/off icloud storage features
