Delete iCloud Storage at Once
From your iPhone’s home screen, navigate to your device’s “Settings”.
In your settings menu, tap on your name and then tap on the “iCloud”.
If your device is running iOS 11, tap on the “Manage Storage” and then proceed and tap on the “Backups” option. However, if your device runs iOS 10.3, you should tap on the “iCloud Storage” and then go ahead and tap on the “Manage Storage” option. Doing so will prompt the iCloud to show the device in which the backups are stored and the space left.
Then, tap on the “Delete Backup” to clear the data from your iCloud account. It’s important to understand that deleting the backup stops the app from automatically backing up your data to iCloud. As such, you should turn on the feature manually to allow your iPhone or iPad back up data automatically.
After that, tap on the “Turn off & Delete” and the data will be deleted.

Delete Photos and Videos from iCloud
Open your “Photos” app from the iPhone’s home screen.
After that, tap on the “Select” option located at the top screen.
After that, tap on all the photos and videos that you’d wish to delete. By doing that, you will see a checkmark added at the lower-right corner of every selected thumbnail.
Next, tap on the “trash bin” icon located on the lower right side of the screen. This prompts a confirmation message to appear on the screen.
Finally, tap on the “Delete” button. By doing that, all your selected items will get deleted from the iCloud library.

Delete app data from iCloud storage
- Open your iPhone’s “Settings.” You can also do the same when using an iPad.
- After that, tap on your name located at the top of the “Setting” menu.
- Next, tap on the “iCloud.” By doing that, a page with various iCloud options will open. Sign in when prompted to.
- Disable automatic syncing of data to iCloud. You can do this by sliding the buttons next to the apps to off position.
- Having done that, tap on the “Manage storage” located on the upper side of the page, above the list under the “iCloud” option. Doing that takes you to a list of various applications that use iCloud storage.
- After that, you can tap on an app and view its data. If you still want to delete the data, tap on the “Delete data” option. Depending on the version of the app that you’re using, you can see a different option. Some of the options include “Documents & Data” or “Disable & Delete”. By clicking any of these options, a confirmation message should pop up on the screen.
- Tap on the red “Delete” link located near the bottom of the screen. Now your unwanted data has been deleted. You can repeat the process with other apps and get the app’s data removed.
However, have it in mind that the data that you delete will be removed from other devices synced with the same Apple ID. When through with one app, you can tap the back button to get back to the “iCloud Storage” page.
- After that, tap on the “Backups” located in the menu to view a list of iCloud backups. When you tap at your phone, it will display a list of apps that you can back up with your iCloud.
- Next, tap on the “Show All Apps” to view a list of all the local application data backed up in the iCloud. You should notice that each app data is listed under each application.
- For every app that you no longer want to be backed to iCloud, slide the switch next to off position.
- Finally, tap on the “Turn off & Delete” to delete the backed up data from the application and prevents it from backing up data to iCloud in the future. And that’s it.

On Mac
Click on the Apple menu located at the top left corner of your screen, then click on the “System Preference” situated on the list.
After that, click on your Apple ID located on the upper side of the window. Having done that, a list of the apps compatible with the iCloud will appear on the right panel. Now, ensure you uncheck the box that corresponds to the app that you no longer want to sync to your iCloud account.
Next, click on the “iCloud” located on the left pane. Log in and verify your account when prompted to continue with the process.
Having done that, go ahead and click on the “Manage” option to get to a list of apps and backups available in your iCloud account storage. Select one of the apps that you want its data removed, and all its data will be displayed on in the right pane.
From the data list, select the items that you’d want to delete. To select many things at once, hold down the “⌘” command as you click on individual options.
When done doing that, click on the “Delete” button located on the lower-left corner of the pane.
Repeat the process for other apps, and you will be done.

On Windows PC
If you’re already using iCloud for Windows, launch the iCloud app on your windows. However, if you do not have the iCloud application program installed, you can use the online iCloud or download it.
After that, click on the “Storage” view the items.
From the items listed, select “Backup”.
Select one of the backups and click on the “Delete” to permanently delete the backup from all your devices linked to the iCloud account.
If you’re sure that you want to turn off future backups and remove all the backups from that device in iCloud, tap on the “Delete” option when a pop-up message appears directing you to confirm your action. Also, it’s essential to understand that when you delete a backup from your iCloud, any future update is also turned off automatically.
