How do I get my Kheaa money?
Here’s how it works: Every year you attend a certified Kentucky high school and earn at least a 2.5 GPA, you earn a KEES award ranging from $125 (for a 2.5 GPA) to $500 (for a 4.0 GPA). If you get a 4.0 GPA all four years of high school, you’ll have banked $2,000 for college in Kentucky!
Is KHESLC a federal loan?
Your loans with KHESLC are either Federal Family Education Loans or private loans.
Can you lose KEES money?
If your cumulative GPA drops below a 2.5 you will lose your KEES award for the next academic year. You may regain your KEES award for subsequent academic years by meeting the above criteria by the end of the spring term in which you meet the criteria.
How long is KEES money good for?
KEES is available for up to five (5) years from high school graduation, receipt of a bachelor’s degree, or scholarship receipt for eight (8) semesters, whichever comes first.
