Currently there is no portal to Ironforge in the portal room and with the recent removal of portals in Shrine and new Dalaran, the only new viable way to get to Ironforge is to ask a mage or to take the tram in Stormwind.

There is only ONE mage portal in Ironforge. It is located in the Mystic Ward, within the largest building in the district. There is a large water pond in front of it. You can also travel from Ironforge to Stormwind City via the Deeprun Tram.

Where is the train from Ironforge to Stormwind?

Deeprun tram is in the dwarven district in stormwind, goes to tinker town in ironforge and back.
