Requirements

  3. Valid U.S. driver’s license and auto insurance.
  4. A reliable vehicle (1997 or newer).
  5. Knowledge of produce selection.
  6. Ability to lift 45 pounds.

Can you request a specific Shipt shopper?

At this time, we do not offer the option for members to request a specific shopper. The idea is that each shopper will provide the same excellent experience to all of our members!

What is Error 503 on Shipt?

Can you reject a Shipt shopper?

If you decline a preferred shopper request from a member and are on schedule when that member places an order, you will not be prioritized for that member’s order; however, it is possible that you get a member’s order in the future.

Is Shipt worth the money?

Is it OK to deliver a Shipt order early?

The customer sees your profile picture as well as your first name and last initial. That’s all the info they see about the shopper.

Are all Shipt orders tax exempt?

–Shipt is tax-exempt because the customer is purchasing their groceries from Shipt. Shipt members pay applicable local sales tax on their order.

Shipt does not withhold any taxes from our shoppers’ weekly paychecks. As independent contractors, Shipt Shoppers are responsible for filing their own taxes. Shipt will send a 1099 form to shoppers who earn above a certain amount at the end of the year.
