How much should my basal temperature change?
Basal body temperature may increase slightly — typically less than a 1/2 degree F (0.3 C) — when you ovulate. Ovulation has likely occurred when the slightly higher temperature remains steady for three days or more.
Do you have to take your BBT at the same time every day?
Ideally, you want to take your temperature around the same time every day. But, let’s be realistic. We don’t always wake up at the same time daily, especially on weekends. So even if you wake up at a much later or earlier time than you usually wake up, still take your temperature.
