Can you have a shared Gmail account?
With Gmail you can share your inbox for viewing and sending emails with other Gmail accounts. To do this is very simple. From your Gmail page, go to Settings->Accounts and Import. Now go to “Grant access to your account” section and click on the “Add another account” link.

There is no limit on the number of accounts you can have on Google. You can quickly and easily create new accounts, and also link those to your existing accounts so that you can easily switch between different accounts.
How do I create a shared email account?
In the admin center, go to the Groups > Shared mailboxes page.
- On the Shared mailboxes page, select + Add a mailbox. Enter a name for the shared mailbox.
- Select Add. It may take a few minutes before you can add members.
- Under Next steps, select Add members to this mailbox.
- Select the +Add members button.
- Select Close.
How can I access another person’s Gmail account?
Click on the cog icon in the top right hand corner of your inbox and go to settings. Select the Accounts tab and scroll down to the Grant access to your account section. Click on the Add another account link and add the Google email address of the person you would like to access your Gmail account.
How do I see a shared Gmail?
Once the mailbox has been delegated, use these steps to access it:
- Click on the image or initial icon at the top right corner of your screen.
- In the drop-down menu that appears, click on the Shared Mailbox name, it with (delegated) after the email address.
- The shared/delegated account will open in a new tab or window.
