Step 2:

The next step is turning your zippo upside down. This allows you to release the inside component or part of the zippo lighter. It is important to completely remove the inside unit from the casing of the zippo lighter. While turning this around, you will see that there is a packing material where you locate the chamber. You will have to refill the fuel in that chamber.

Make sure you have a small piece of metal, which you can use to detach the pad. It is because there are different models of zippo lighter and most of them secure the pad. Next, you need to fill the packing. Avoid refilling it fully because the fuel will flow out.

It is important to avoid overfilling the zippo. For instance, when the zippo lighter changes its color, you need to stop pouring the fuel. Keep this in mind. On the other hand, if it does not changes its color, you need to stop refilling once the fuel reaches the package top.

Step 3:

Use a cleaning cloth to wipe away the fluid in case it has flown out. Don’t pour the flown out liquid into the lighter again. Also, you must act carefully because the liquid is highly combustive. So, don’t leave the excess liquid and do not touch it. Otherwise, it can harm your skin. Also, it can catch fire.

Once you have refilled the inside unit or the chamber, you need to put it back in the zippo case. Make sure you fit it properly. Otherwise, there is a risk of fire or high flame. Make sure you keep the flammable part of the lighter upwards. Don’t position it downwards. After fitting the inside unit in the outer casing, you will complete the process.
