How often should I clean my Pax?
We recommend cleaning your device with the included pipe cleaners and isopropyl alcohol every few uses to prevent any build up in the vapor path. PAX 2 can be cleaned in less than a minute. If you use PAX 2 regularly, we encourage a weekly clean for the perfect session every time.
Can you clean a Pax with water?
Isopropyl alcohol or soapy water can be used to clean the mouthpiece; this silicone piece can be submerged in either of the two. (Tip: avoid using any other products to clean the device, as it may nullify your warranty!)
How do I deep clean my Pax 2?
Begin cleaning your PAX 2 by removing the mouthpiece. Then, dip one of the included pipe cleaners in the isopropyl alcohol and inserting it into the vapor pathway, found inside the mouthpiece area. By “flossing” this pipe cleaner up and down through the vapor path, you’ll loosen any resistance-causing debris.
How do you clean Pax without rubbing alcohol?
Use a piece of a Magic Eraser. I rip a small piece off, turn on the PAX to let the oven heat up a bit, then scrub the oven using the piece of Magic Eraser (with a Q-tip or the poker tool to get the ME in the oven). Works like a charm. Sodium bicarbonate mixed with a little water into a paste is a gentle micro abrasive.
Can you clean Pax with vinegar?
The Pax is very sensitive and prone to malfunction if not cleaned regularly. But is very easy to clean if you use white vinegar.
Can I use hydrogen peroxide to clean Pax?
Don’t use window cleaners, household cleaners, aerosol sprays, solvents, ammonia, abrasives, or cleaners containing hydrogen peroxide to clean the display. Do not clean the screen of your PAX device display with a cleaner containing acetone.
Can you clean a vaporizer with hydrogen peroxide?
Mix a solution of four parts water to one part hydrogen peroxide (3 percent) in the tank. Allow the solution to remain in the tank for at least 30 minutes. Then, empty the tank. Rinse thoroughly with clean water, and let the tank air dry.
