1. Delete Facebook Photos from Pc and Mac Computer

  • On your preferred browser, go to https://www.facebook.com/. If you’re logged in, you’ll automatically get to the News Feed in the Facebook homepage. But, if not logged in, you’ll get a prompt to sign in with either your email address on the phone number.
  • Click on your profile icon in the top-right corner of the Facebook page.
  • Then, click on the “Photos” tab below your cover photo.
  • Next, click on the “Your Photos” option just near the top of the list under the “Photos” heading. This step will open you’re your personally uploaded photos.
  • Scroll down and locate the photo that you want to delete and hover the cursor over it. By doing so, a pencil-like button will appear in the upper-right corner of your photo’s thumbnail.
  • Using the pencil-like icon to open a drop-down menu and scroll down the drop-down menu to find and click on the “Delete this photo” option at the bottom of the list.
  • And finally, click on the “Delete” option when prompted. Clicking on the “Delete” option will remove the photo in question and all the posts associated with it from your Facebook account.
  1. Delete Facebook Photos from a Mobile Browser

  • Open your preferred mobile browser and navigate to a Facebook website through https://www.facebook.com/  and login to your account.
  • Locate and tap on the image you’d want to be deleted to select it. However, it is essential to note that you can only delete the image you uploaded.
  • Tap on the “More options” tab below the image.
  • After that, tap on the “Edit photo” option and then tap on the “Delete” tab at the bottom-right of the screen.
  • Under the “Are you sure you want to delete this photo?” tap on “Delete,” and your photo will automatically get deleted. This process cannot be reversed.

  • Tap o your Facebook app icon on the home screen.  If you’re already logged in, you’ll automatically get to the Facebook News Feed. If not yet logged in, a login page will open for you to key-in your account details and gain access to your account homepage.
  • Tap on this at the lower-right corner of the screen and then tap on your name at the top of the menu to get to your profile.
  • Scroll down and tap on the “Photos” tab below your profile information part.
  • Next, tap on the “Upload” tab on the upper side of the screen and select the photo(s) you want to be deleted and tap to open it.
  • Tap on this on the top right corner of the screen, and a menu will appear.
  • Tap on the “Delete photo” at the top of the menu.
  • After that, tap on the “Delete” option when prompted. After that procedure, the photo will be no more, including the pots that featured it. And now, you’re good to go.
  1. Delete Facebook Photos From Android Mobile Phones and Tablets

  • Locate the Facebook icon on the home screen and tap on it to open. If already logged in, you’ll get to your Facebook homepage with “News Feed.” If not yet logged in, you’ll get to the log-in page where you should key-in your username/phone or the email address associated with the account and enter the correct password to get to your Facebook homepage.
  • Tap on this on the top-right corner of the screen and tap on your name at the top to get to your profile.
  • Scroll down and tap on the “Photos” tab below your profile information part.
  • Next, tap on the “Upload” tab on the upper side of the screen and select the photo(s) you want to be deleted and tap to open it.
  • Tap on this on the top right corner of the screen, and a menu will appear.
  • Tap on the “Delete photo” at the top of the menu.
  • After that, tap on the “Delete” option when prompted. After that procedure, the photo will be no more, including the posts that featured it. And that’s it. Your selected photos should get deleted from your Facebook account and posts that featured it.
  1. Delete Photo Albums From Facebook on Computer

  • On your Facebook profile page, click on “Photos” and then click on “Albums” along the top.
  • Click to highlight the album that you want to get deleted.
  • After that, click on setting icon next to the “Edit” and “Tag” button.
  • Choose the blue “Delete Album” option on the upper center of the screen. A pop-up window will appear with “Cancel” and “Delete Album
  • Click on the blue “Delete Album” option to confirm the action.

Note: You cannot be able to delete the photo albums created by Facebook. Such albums include cover photos, mobile uploads. However, you can delete individual images inside such collections by opening them in full view and then clicking on options, and finally, click on “Delete this photo.

Tip: If you want to delete a photo without going to the albums, you can scroll and locate the picture in the post. And then, open the image, click on options and click on “Delete Album.
