1. Using Control Button On Your Keyboard

  • Position your cursor over the target.
  • Press and hold on the control (Ctrl) button located on the last row of the keys.
  • Click on the target and right-click menu will open.
  1. Using A Mouse

  • Get a mouse with the two-button capability.
  • Connect the mouse to your Mac computer.
  • Position the cursor on the intended spot and then press on the right-positioned button on your mouse and a right-click menu will appear.
  1. Using 2 Fingers-Click

  • Enable the feature by clicking on the cog icon located in your Dock or by clicking on the Apple icon on the top-left pane.
  • Then click on “System  Preferences”.
  • Click on the “Trackpad” option.
  • Go to “Trackpad Preferences”.
  • After that, select “Click with two fingers” and check the box next to the secondary click. If it is checked, you should be good to go.

With two-finger click enabled on your computer’s Trackpad, you can go ahead and position your cursor on the target. And press two fingers on the Trackpad and a right-click menu will appear on the screen. And that’s how straightforward it is.

  1. By Tapping the Corner of the Trackpad

  • Enable the feature by clicking on the cog icon located in your Dock or by clicking on the Apple icon on the top-left pane.
  • Then click on “System  Preferences.
  • Click on the “Trackpad”.
  • Go to “Trackpad Preferences”.
  • In your preferences, select “Click in the bottom right corner” or “Click in the bottom left corner”.

When you want to right-click using this option, you should select or position your cursor on the target spot. After that, either click in the bottom right corner or on the bottom left corner, depending on your settings. And that’s it.
