Another way to set call forwarding on your phone is to go via service provider and set it up through the codes. It is a very special method which does not depend upon the phone that you are using. It makes call forwarding as a basic feature rather than a luxury to acquire. Here are five steps to do the same:

  • Dial **21* followed by the number you wish the calls to forward to, followed by #.
  • For example **21*13106565655#.
  • Press ‘yes/ok/send’.
  • You will either see a message on your screen or receive a text message saying that forwarding has been enabled.
  • Restart your phone.
  • When you wish to stop forwarding your calls, dial ##21# to disable call forwarding.

NOTE

  •  Call forwarding your calls may/will affect the call voice quality.

As the phone call is diverted to a third party it may cause hindrance to the call quality.
